Robots and robot toys are the subject of some beautiful artwork. On this page will be displayed different images or robots. If they are the scanned art from a box cover or a macro shot of two toys locked in combat is no matter, as long as there is a robot in the image. This page is meant to be both fun and quite random in what may be presented here.

Mead has the combination of amazing rendering skills combined with a brilliant imagination.

Gundam: Syd Mead (Kronovecta)
Bandai has comissioned the talented designer, Syd Mead, to redesign Gundam. These are some older pieces he did for Bandai in 95. Mead has done design work for Blade Runner, Aliens, and other feature films.

Mead has truely defined the look of sc-fi as we think of it today.

Crossection Combattra Section 2
A beautiful drawing of the inner-workings of the combattra vehicle. This image is taken from THE CHOGOKIN. It is a testament to the engineering and artistic skill of the creators of these toys. Click on the picture to check out the big version and lose yourself in the details.

Mazinga Construction Bay 1
This is an idea that has been bouncing around in my head for years. I always wanted to build one of the cool undeground bases that house the super robots. This is a 3-D rendering done in Lightwave.

Kazuhisha Kondo: Gundam-Dogs of War BClub #35
This is a nice example of mecha manga art. Even though it is b/w and a still image, the artist has conveyed the sense of action and power.
