Description:
"A robot that's half leopard, and a space age tank,
too!"-That's a pretty weird description of this toy. Leopardon
is a heavy toy of mostly diecast. His robot form is convincing, but
as a "space age tank" he's a little hurting. He does have a
very thick sword, but no shield. |

History:
The Godaikin Leopardon was originally sold in Japan as a DX toy. His
origins are very interesting. Apparently someone mad a deal with
Marvel comics to use the Spiderman character in a super robot show.
Leopardon was Spidey's robot and tank. You can see the webbing like
logo on his chest. This is probably a toy Marvel was hoping never to
see in the U.S. It may be a pun of types but it is interesting that
the tank mode is called the "Marveller". |
